Oh my goodness! This couple is exasperating, exhausting, exhilarating and entertaining. Experiencing their relationship was like trying to turn away from a train wreck; you know you shouldn't watch, but you can't take your eyes off of it. As often as their behavior frustrated me, I was too vested in this pair to give up, as DW had me at "No little girl grows up thinking she's going to become an escort..." and from there I was hooked. Jenna and Xander had a tumultuous journey full of passion, missed opportunities, silly misunderstandings, and plain bullheadedness, and FINALLY a sweet new "beginning". This serial was a fun and clever departure for DW that worked for so many "reasons". I hope that this will be an opportunity for new reiders to experience her magic, because she is worth it! Wow, this book is one hell of a rollercoaster. The events in previous books come to a head and the characters appear to have switched their hearts' desires. I love when characters mature and grow through the course of a book or series, even if they are a bit older, like Xander. Jenna's reaction to Xander in this book are all over the map. She longs for him, she hates him, and everything in between. It wouldn't be a DW Cee book if there wasn't an HEA but the road is long and bumpy for this couple.
I loved this series the characters, the emotions, the dialogue, the storyline and the heart. The one thing this author always delivers are stories from and for the heart.
Always love d.w.'s work! These stories always stay with me!
If you haven't read a book by DW Cee please consider this series! It was so tender the way Zander would not give up on Jenna! This series is truly a happily ever after kind of love! Cannot wait to see what DW has for us next!!!
Ok so I think D.W. Cee out did herself this time and I am so glad I could be a part of these stories. I would like to see a 10000 reasons series of Lex and Larry. I hope the writer does so. This was a totally awesome book I think everyone should read it. Thank You D.W. Cee
I love this series! I love how Xander is in this book. I would say you wouldn't regret buying this. You will get more in depth to Jenna's reasoning and feelings and Xander Can I say little Alex is hilarious. You get to see how Xander becomes a hand on parent. But more importantly you get to see true love can over come anything or anyone.
