I am always skeptical about reading a book written in third person, afraid that I wont be able to connect with the characters but Chase Moore connected my life over here!! Bravo! well written, and executed. I was gifted this book a while ago but I upgraded to audio and I would recommend that version!had me in a zone all day!Product details

I had actually bought this book months ago but never got around to reading. Well I read Ghetto Pocahontas and it had references to some of the characters in this book so that placed it at the top of my reading list. By the time I was 22% in to this book I was 1-clicking part 2. This book has drama, love, betrayal and so much more. All of the characters have spunk so I'm sure you won't be disappointed with any aspect of this book. It's definitely a must read so go ahead and click it... Lol
Loved the book! Yes, these women were "off the hook" w/how they got their $, but I was still rooting 4 them to change their lives & be okay. I couldn't stand Stevie's manipulations & how she treated her woman and was hoping she'd get hers, but it seemed the "good" 1s always get jacked in the end. I don't wish to tell the story, if you have not read it thus far. Therefore, I will just inform you, that the book is worth a read (rather paid or free) & the author, Chase Moore did an excellent job in telling this story. Trust me, you will hardly be able to wait for the follow-up, so go cop this!
Before purchasing this book I tried a sample. I wasn't sure how the book was going to go because the sample was interesting yet it wasn't enough to want to make me buy the book. However, I saw other reviews saying how good it was so I gave it a shot. It turned out to be a great and interesting read once I got into it. The only drawback were the cliffhangers from chapter to chapter and it seemed like there was some guesswork. There were a few typographical errors, but not really a big deal. I loved Rich and Stevie got on my damn nerves with all that extra she did or expected from Starr. Diamond is definitely just a hoe and should have been more appreciative that Rich would want to do the things he did for her. All in all a good read. The end definitely left me hanging so now I'm anxiously waiting for part 2.

"Pretty Young Things" by Chase Moore was a interesting urban fiction read that kept me reading to the end...always presenting something that would only leave you wanting more of this plot. "Pretty Young Things" really moved with lots of action going on and it definitely isn't predictable like I thought it would be only to find 'sexy people doing a lot of ugly things' ...stealing, killing, fighting and I am sure you can find some more as you process through this good read.
The characters from Stevie, Starr, Cartier, Diamond, Rich, Lavelle, Lolita, Antoine, Sasha,Tatiana, Barbara Baker and a few others I left out will only kept you captivated in "Pretty Young Things. Like What was going on that Stevie push Diamond to the Gentlemen's Club to meet Rich Keys? Be ready to read of greediness that is way off the chart. How will this all come out for Starr, Diamond and Antoine, Stevie and Rich? Well, we will all have to catch part 2 of Chase Moore's next novel. I am sure it will be worth checking out. Would I recommend this read? YES!
The book was about Diamond and Starr who were best friends. Starr was in an abusive relationship with her girlfriend Stevie. Stevie was so cold and evil and I felt like Starr should have gotten out of the relationship because she was really a good person caught up in a mess. Diamond only looked out for Diamond, but she met her match when she met this big time baller named Rich. This book had so many twists and turns and surprises that I couldn't put it down. I can't wait for part 2 because I have to know did Starr make it away from Stevie and what happened to Diamond who was caught in a compromising position by Rich. This book was all of that. I enjoyed every minute.
This book was really good. I literally couldn't put my phone down, and it was definitely a turn pager. I didn't like Stevie and how she abused Starr, she was so vicious and cold hearted you almost forget that she's a female. I actually liked Diamond for a minute, but it just seem as though she was just looking out for herself. Starr was a young woman who was so in love with Stevie, that she would stay with her even when she abused her. When Rich appeared in the book, I already knew he was a low down dirty man that always got what he wanted. I liked Antoine and I felt like him and Starr would become a couple and Starr could really see what love truly is. This was a great read and I definitely recommend this to other readers.
I bought this on a whim and I lucked up on a great read. I literally started reading and didn't stop until I was done. Stevie is Starr abusive and manipulative Stud mate. The highs and lows with Stevie's character is complex and thoroughly jaw dropping. However Diamonds love of money makes her do scandalous things to people who care about her. She's selfish and because she enjoys tricking for cash she's willing to place herself in precarious positions so imagine what she's willing to do to someone else. This was a great read, several unexpected plots happening. I can't wait to see what happens next!
